WHO WE ARE

St. Ambrose Dance Marathon is SAU's largest student-run philanthropic organization. SAUDM is a culmination of year-long fundraising by participants, known as dancers, to celebrate the lives of children and families treated at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.

The money raised specifically benefits the children and families of University of Iowa Children's Hospital through Children's Miracle Network. These donations help fund many areas of hospital need, such as enhancements and program support, education, research, and primary equipment. The results of these donations help improve the quality of life of the children and their families, along with providing education and research of current illnesses and future treatments.

This year, Dance Marathon at St. Ambrose will take place on April 22nd, 2023. During this time, dancers will stay on their feet for 13.1 hours in celebration of the children who won their battles, those who are still fighting, and those who are forever dancing in our hearts.
