Public Relations & Marketing Committee

The Public Relations and Marketing Committee does all the internal and external communications for SAUDM!


We manage social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and TikTok), design all apparel (including the Big Event theme design), take photos at all events, create videos for various campaigns, communicate with media groups in the Quad-Cities, manage the website, create graphics and other promotional materials (for events, fundraisers, and recruitment) and more! We work closely with all other DM committees and the families for various projects! 


This committee is a great experience for anyone studying marketing, communications, art, graphic design, etc… BUT we encourage anyone interested to apply! No experience is required and you will have the opportunity to try out any aspect of PRM you are interested in! Most members work on what they are specifically interested in.

Public Relations & Marketing Chairs
Multimedia Chair

Members who show interest and possess skills related to videography or photography will work on planning and executing various video projects throughout the year, as well as taking photographs at DM events throughout the year. Members will have assistance from other members of the PR&M committee but this chair will take the lead on big projects


Valuable Skills & Qualities

  • Experience with videography and photography

  • Time management skills

  • Creative insight

  • Editing skills

  • Access to editing software for video and photos (Either: Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, iMovie, Final Cut, Etc…)
