There is an $100 minimum requirement to attend the Big Event. Raising $100 may seem a little overwhelming at first, but it is actually really easy! There are so many ways to go about fundraising throughout the year. Here are some helpful tips and ideas for fundraising. Remember, much of the fundraising done for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is done $1 at a time, so any donation counts!

Fundraise in Groups
  • It is a lot easier and more fun to fundraise with a group rather than on your own.

Letter Writing
  • Write letters to family and friends explaining what DM is, where their money will be going, and who it will be helping.

  • Add your personal connection and story to DM in your letters.

  • Canning can be one of the most successful fundraisers. Go canning in neighborhoods, around your community, and at local stores.

  • Talk to your Morale Captain about scheduled days for canning.




Online Fundraising Page 
  • When you register to be a dancer, you will have your own online fundraising page. This page allows for family, friends, and businesses to donate directly to you online. You can access your personal fundraising page by clicking the "Donate” tab on the Dance Marathon homepage at  and login to your account.

  • Take 5 minutes to personalize your fundraising page. 


Social Media
  • Share the link of your online fundraising page to friends and family through your social media. It only takes a quick 5 seconds and can really add to your fundraising account! You can even make a Facebook funraiser through your donor drive portal page.

DM at Work
  • Ask your work or parents' work if you can place a jar you decorated to collect donations for DM!

  • Save $5-$10 from each paycheck from now until April.

  • Church Fundraiser

  • Do chores for your parents or grandparents!

  • Save cans/bottles and return them for cash!!

  • Tutor someone and put that money towards your fundraising account!
